My good friend, Lynette kindly has loaned me the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set whilst I am on holidays. It is such a versatile set and is so cheap at only $33.95. I was lacking a bit of inspiration today so I have used the catalogue to inspire me.
Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes Ink: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red Card: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Candy Lane Designer Series Paper Accessories: Pretty in Pink Brad, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, 1 3/8" Square Punch
I received some lovely cardstock, designer series paper, ribbon and emblishment from my upline, Claire Daly in the mail so I just had to use some. It was a good time to try out my new Circle Scissor Plus and Glass Mat, and wow it was easy to use, I just need the glue dots to hold down the paper.
Stamp Set: Wild about You, Nursery Necessities Ink: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip Card: Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Close to Cocoa, Candy Lane Designer Series Paper Accessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgain Ribbon
Hi there, sorry I was out and about for lunch with a couple of friends today so I don't have any stamping to show you today, but I thought I would share with with you all the traditional family photo that we take on Christmas Day. Jason, my nephew is a talented photographer and sets up the timer on the camera so we can all be in the shot.
(Pictured here is my small but very close family dad, me, Jason and Phil - brother-in-law).
I can not believe it I have completed another UStamp project, this time the Big Bold Birthday Card designed by Jenny Moors of the United Kingdom, which should have been a pop up gift card holder but I wanted it as a card as I am trying to build up some cards that I can display at my demonstrator parties.
Stamp Set: Big Bold Birthday Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Not Quite Navy Card: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Not Quite Navy Accessories: Tempting Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch
Wow, two days in a row I have made a UStamp project, that is exciting and I love these easy 4" square cards designed by Becky Roberts from the United States of America.

It is Boxing Day here in Australia and it was a day of organising my craft room and then I stamped for the first time in a while without having Christmas in mind. I have been admiring all the projects on UStamp all month but today I finally completed my first one which was designed by the very talent New Zealand Demonstrator, Tracey Old. Love your creations Tracey. I used alot of my new goodies from the Summer Mini Catalogue which I just love the bright and cheerful colours of the Designer Series Paper and what about the butterfly punch.

Sorry I have not posted any stamping for such a long time, but when I returned from my Queensland Holiday back in mid November, I just could not find the time to catch up. Over the last couple of days I have been distributing my handmade bickies to family and friends and I thought I would share with you the packaging this year which turned out really well with the snowflakes stamped with white StazOn on the cellophane bags with the cute little toppiers.
I am now on holidays and I am really looking forward to creating some wonderful projects from the current UStamp with Dawn and Friends as I have not had the free time to do any of the projects.
I love this video which I received from a family member who is travelling around Australia at the present time, it is such a fantastic Aussie version of Jingle Bells. I wish you all a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.

I hosted my church's Girl's Night last evening to the theme of Christmas, therefore we did a Make and Take of four Christmas Cards. I had prepared for between 20 and 30 people but we only had about 15 as it's a very busy time of the year with lots of Christmas gatherings so we had quite a few apologies. I will have another one in the New Year on perhaps a Saturday afternoon for some ladies that were not able attend. I have had interest from a few girls to host parties in the New Year and a few orders were taken so it's all happening in my life as an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Here are the four Christmas Cards we completed, I tried to make them easy as there were some ladies that had not stamped before.
Card 1 Stamp Set: Christ is Born Ink: Old Olive, Riding Hood Read Card: Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White
Card 2 Stamp Set: Winter, Best Yet Ink: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze Card: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White Accessories: 1/4" Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch

Card 4 Stamp Set: Season of Joy Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Real Red Card: Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, Whisper White Accessories: 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon
I returned from my Queensland holiday on Wednesday evening to my big Stampin' Up! Starter Kit box of goodies (unfortunately I did not received my additonal order, there seemed to be a mix up of my products and it was finally only sent on Thursday so fingers crossed that it arrives for my Girls Evening at my church were we will be creating 4 Christmas Cards for 30+ girls on Friday!). I am really hoping that this will be my last hiccup I have with Stampin' Up! as my start to being an independent demonstrator has not been smooth sailing. Within my order of stamp sets, I purchased Christ is Born ready for my Christmas Cards, I have really loved using it this afternoon with a few Christmas Cards created. I created this one for Keesha Inspirations Sketch Challenge.
Stamp Set: Christ is Born, Best Yet Ink: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery Card: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose Accessories: 1" Rose Red Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
I received a message from Alessandra Reyes from the United States of American, my UStamp swap sister, to let me know she has received my swaps, so I can now post them here for all to see. I will be absent from posting anything for the next couple of weeks as I am heading north to Cairns, Port Douglas and Brisbane for a nice break.
Stamp Set: Great Friend Ink: Elegant Eggplant Card: Lavender Lace, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White Accessories: 1/4" Elegant Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon
Card 2 Stamp Set: Season of Joy, Best Yet Ink: Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery, Card: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery Accessories: 5/8" Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Certainly Celery Brad

I did complete this on the weekend but have not had the time to post it on my blog, sorry life is just way to busy at work at the moment getting ready to go on holidays at the end of consulting tomorrow. This project was designed by the wonderfully talented Penny Hanuszak at UStamp with Dawn and Friends. I had not made a stair step fold card before and I did copy the design but with different colours and I used the sponge dauber for definition instead of the glitter.
Stamp Set: Winter Post, Lovely as a Tree Ink: Baja Breeze Card: Whisper White, Baja Breeze Accessories: Silver Christmas Tree Brads
Hi everyone, just a quick announcement after a couple of weeks of online chats and forms and more emails and phone calls....I AM AN INDEPENDENT STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR. Yes I have finally taken the plunge and I already have two bookings one later in the month and one in February. OH I AM SO EXCITED AND SCARED AT THE SAME TIME. So if you are wishing to purchase some great products or host a party please contact me on 0409 197 292 or email me email@example.com
There are some really great offers on at the moment in the Christmas Gift - Giving Guide so have a look at these goodies and if you spend $85 (and that is not very hard) you will receive a FREE Scallop Square Punch or a Boho Blossoms Punch valued at $30.95.
Yes I got my mojo back as I think this Christmas Wine Gift Bag is alot better than my project from yesterday. It was so easy to make just cover a plain brown paper bag with handles. It looks great with a couple bottles of Shaw and Smith wines from Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills.
Stamp Set: Winter Post Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Always Artichoke Card: Very Vanilla, Designer Series Paper Accessories: Pure Pomegranate Satin Ribbon
I made this yesterday as part of the UStamp projects, unfortunately I was not really in the creating mood it must be this hot weather we are having in South Australia at the moment, but I will show you anyway that I have been up to something. It's another hot one in Woodside again today, but I think I will be creating something this afternoon as well as doing the ironing and getting organised for my trip to Queensland in 8 days time.
Stamp Set: Festive Favourties Ink: Real Red, Glorious Green Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Heirloom Designer Series Paper Accessories: Red Ribbon, Gold Cord
I started on my Christmas cards today, I will take a photo soon to show you a few, I think there might be about 10 completed which is a start.
I also completed a UStamp project which were blocks that spelt out MERRY but as Australia does not have the dies, the very kind Anett sent me a template which I could use. I have made it a box as it would be more useful for me and I ended up only making one as it was alot small than I thought it would be.
Stamp Set: Winter Post, Season of Joy, Sincere Salutations Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Bayou Blue Card: Kraft, Very Vanilla Accessories: 5/8" Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon
Wow I got this project completed and my swaps are ready to be sent once I get the details from the lovely Bella all in one day! I am also signing up in the coming week to be an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - exciting but scary at the same time.
Stamp Set: Winter Post, Festive Favourites Ink: Old Olive, Real Red Card: Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White Accessories: Red Satin Ribbon, Tag Punch, Clear Plastic Sheet
I just received this as an email and as I have been raising money for breast cancer research I needed to show you all too. It's not too late to support Kathryn's Girls Afternoon, you have missed the event :-( but you can make a donation on my personal page.
Finally I have had some time to stamp, late this afternoon I completed my first Ustamp project I am a little behind as it started last Friday and there is one project posted each day. I have been busy with the Cancer Council Girls Afternoon and then on Tuesday I made four Christmas cards (but I can not show you these as someone might be watching) for a card evening for the girls at my church in late November but I had to plan what we are making so I could order the cardstock before I go away to Queensland in just over two week's time. I have the next four days off so hopefully I will get a few more completed.
Finally I have time to write up on Kathryn's Girls Afternoon on Saturday. It was so much fun, and everyone loved the five cards and one project (a cover for a Lindt block of chocolate which was in there goodie bag). Below are photos of the afternoon together with the cards we created.
The girls have been showing their cards to others so looks like it will be an annual event for the Cancer Council. I have raised over $700 so far with some more cards to sell to friends and work colleagues.
A big thank you must go to all my supporters - Stampin' Up, Claire Daly, Mary-Jane Rousell, Debbie Keane, Anett Schallock, Lynn Powell and my good friend Lynette Irvine who organised guests and helped with afternoon tea.
